As part of the refurbishment of the church premises, the toilets are being updated and the aim of this afternoon was to raise money towards twinning our new toilets with those in countries in the poorest parts of the world through a scheme run by Tear Fund.
There were games to enjoy, quizzes to take part in, videos to watch plus craft activities, all based on the ‘toilet’ theme! £240 was raised. These photos show the transformation of toilet rolls into racing cars, scarecrows and penguins. |
